About Dr. Jonathan Hebda

Jonathan Hebda, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2009. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 2005. Dr. Hebda was a member of numerous honor societies during his undergraduate years. He has been practicing in the DFW metroplex since July 2009 and specializes in ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. He is also passionate about fitting contact lenses and providing pediatric eye care for ages 5 and up. Dr. Hebda is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. When asked why he became an optometrist, Dr. Hebda says he has always wanted to do something in health. Having worn glasses for most of his life, it was easy for him to envision helping others the same way he was helped as a child. He enjoys working with his patients to ensure their eyes are healthy and getting to know them so he can help them achieve their vision care goals. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Hebda enjoys spending time with his family, working outside on home projects, and volunteering at his church. He lives with his wife, Emily, their five children, and their two Doodles in Keller, Texas.
