About Dr. Jonathan Hershberger

Dr. Jonathan Hershberger is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Hershberger was born in Syracuse, New York. He earned a baccalaureate degree in the dual majors of Biology and Philosophy at the University of Rochester, New York. He graduated from college magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He completed medical school at The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Hershberger did his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University’s McGaw Medical Center/Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He served his final year at Northwestern as an Administrative Chief Resident. He joined Drs. Fallieras, Kilbride, Marston, Jaeger, Minton, Brown and Reiss in 2003.

I am so glad to have Dr. Herschberger as my GYN. He really listened to my issues and had great recommendations. Also he very clearly communicated with me during my exam which I appreciated very much. I felt very comfortable talking to him about my concerns as well. I highly recommend.

I think Dr. Hershberger is great and have been purposely seeing him for approximately 20 years, because he's good at what he does. Today was the first experience I've had that causes me to look for a new doctor. I received an earful of Covid Vaccine Propaganda which I neither needed nor expected. Apparently, the OBGYN now sells the vaccine, and their marketing spiel leaves a lot to be desired. Anything for $$$$$. Logic, be damned.
I was informed that "I'm 14 times more likely to die without the vaccine!!!" LOL Actually, I'm 100% likely to die because I'm a human being, and you can't improve the odds on that short of making me a vampire. Thanks, though. Enjoy your monthly boosters.

I moved from N.Y. to F.L. a month ago and was on the hunt for a new OBGYN. After reading many reviews I decided to book my appointment here. It's so cozy and clean here with a large waiting area with a t.v. and coffee station... My appointment was with Dr. Hershberger. The staff was very clear and kind when instructing my first visit. Booking my appointment with Chaimari (sp?) Was easy and straightforward from collecting insurance information to explaining the patient portal. Nurse Janet at check in made it easy with all the paperwork needed.Nurse Rebecca checked my vitals and made me feel more relaxed talking to a stranger about personal information.Nurse Stacy made me feel comfortable when meeting Dr. Hershberger in his office first before the examination and that was such a big win to talk with the doctor one on one and not during the examination.Dr. Hershberger was kind and VERY knowledgeable about my concerns. He was very clear and personable.Finding an OBGYN is never easy and I feel like I found a gem here in North TampaI felt such a warm welcome and am so happy to continue my coverage here.

I’ve received care here for over 4 years and 2 pregnancies. All of the providers are wonderful - they are up-to-date and caring, always taking time to answer questions and provide reassurance. I especially love Drs. Dill and Hershberger. The office also usually runs pretty on schedule which is hard to find these days and much appreciated.

I've been to both offices and all of the staff that I've came into contact with were excellent. Friendly, welcoming and they all made it clear from start to finish. Dr. Hershberger and Dr. Brown delivered my last 2 children... they were excellent then and are excellent now.
