Dr. Jonathan Yin is a certified and residency-trained optometrist who specializes in comprehensive and medical care, including but not limited to diagnosis and management of cataracts, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and co-management of ocular surgical procedures. Dr. Yin was born and raised in Lilburn, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Georgia in, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He furthered his education by pursuing a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama School of Optometry, located in Birmingham, Alabama. At UAB, Dr. Yin was a member of the optometric honor society Beta Sigma Kappa, as well the National Optometric Student Association. After graduating in 2023, Dr. Yin pursued a residency in Ocular Disease of the Anterior Segment with Milan Eye Center at Cumming, Georgia. There he gained experience and knowledge regarding the cornea, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and surgical co-management among others. In his spare time, Dr. Yin enjoys spending time with his friends and family, reading books, and relaxing.
