About Dr. Joseph Isik
Dr. Joseph Isik is a native of Long Island, NY. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stony Brook University and Doctor of Optometry degree State University of New York College of Optometry in Manhattan. He was a member of the Golden International Optometric Honor Society and recipient of the Billie M. Lyons Memorial Award for Distinguished Service to the College Community.
After graduating optometry school, Dr. Isik completed an optometric residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at SSM Health Davis Duehr Dean Eye Care in Madison, Wisconsin. He also completed his internship training in specialty contact lenses and primary care at the University Eye Center at SUNY College of Optometry, and ocular disease/pre and post-surgical eye care at Fromer Eye Centers in New York City and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia. He has presented posters and lectures at the American Academy of Optometry and the Global Specialty Lens Symposium on managing anterior segment pathology and fitting post-surgical corneas with specialty lenses.
Dr. Isik has traveled to Panama for Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. In his free time, he enjoys running, trying new restaurants and traveling to new places.

I don't think I will be going back to this office. I get in and they claim that I wasn't scheduled and he asks if I am Juan, then asks what my last name is, which is similar to the name he asked. The papers that I signed, exactly as the online forms signed, noted that I can get a copy but the staff refused to give me a copy, until I urged that it be done. I went in to get glasses for eye sensitivity and they tried to test me for glasses to see better, as the doctor tried to push me getting eye glasses and made claims to me not getting clear glasses with coating to fight the light sensitivity, where another doctor said otherwise. They continued to test my vision versus my sensitivity issue, they proceeded to avoid my other issues as I had to urge them to do as I wrote on the online documents, as with the paper documents. I'm trying to find out why they would ask for my social security number.
