About Dr. Joseph Studebaker

Joseph Studebaker, O.D., earned his Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1984. He also obtained his bachelor's degree at The Ohio State University, majoring in physics with a minor in organic chemistry. His special interests include ocular diseases such as the medical management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and neuro-optometry. Dr. Studebaker's decision to become an optometrist stemmed from recognizing similarities between the field and his passions for physics and natural sciences. He particularly enjoys problem-solving and addressing complex clinical, ocular, and vision-related challenges. He served as President of the Ohio Optometric Association in 2003 and was honored as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 1994.
