He completed his internship and optometric training at Aker Kasten Eye Center in Boca Raton, followed by an internship at the West Palm Beach VA hospital. Dr. Vandenberg is getting married to his fiancé, Laura (who is also an Optometrist) this June. Dr. Vandenberg is an avid sports fan, loves watching football and tennis. He plays tennis a few times each week and watches matches on TV very often. His wish list/bucket list is to attend each of the 4 Major Tournaments and plans to attend Wimbledon this summer with Laura for their honeymoon.
