“I was super pleased with all aspects of this office. I almost cancelled because I had so many advanced requests on my phone that I thought I would never be able to keep up with the modern day tech. It turned out that they already knew about my insurance etc. so I sailed through tegidtration and the very exacting tests and conversations with the student tech and Dr Ziegler! Both were highly knowledgeable and very fun to converse with!!”

About Dr. Josie Ziegler
Josie Ziegler, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Optometry in 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Hebrew Language from Temple University in 2016.
Upon graduating optometry school, Dr. Ziegler received the Kentucky College of Optometry Contact Lens Clinic Excellence Award and the GPLI 2022 Dr. Robert B. Mandell Gas Permeable Clinical Excellence Award. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Contact Lens Section of the AOA, as well as the Ohio Optometric Association. Her passion in optometry is reflected in her interest in preventative care such as myopia management, dry eye disease treatments, and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Ziegler's interest in optometry began when she was 7 years old and learning about Helen Keller in second grade. She decided then that she wanted to help people with various vision conditions. When she was 14 years old, she earned her first job as an optician and optometric technician. Dr. Ziegler continued this work for 10 years prior to optometry school.
Outside of work, Dr. Ziegler spends time with her husband, Alex, and son, Robert. She is an active member of the Cincinnati Jewish community, enjoys traveling, and exploring the Cincinnati area.
