About Dr. Kaitlin Brown

Kaitlin Brown, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry, with Honors, from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Optometry in 2020, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. She completed undergraduate studies in Psychology at Florida State University. Dr. Brown is an inducted member of Beta Sigma Kappa and the Gold Key International Optometric Societies. Her special fields of interest include pediatric optometry and vision therapy. Dr. Brown always had a desire for a career in medicine, and the field of optometry allows her to provide primary eye care services to her patients while maintaining a good work-life balance. She believes eyesight is one of our most important senses and is thankful to help improve the vision of so many people. In her free time, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with her family. Her other interests include trip planning, attending musical theatre, and experiencing new restaurants.

I had an u usual finding on my retinal screening and Dr Brown was able to get me in to see a retinal specialist the same day. I was very impressed with the follow through.
When I called yesterday morning with a possible ear infection, you worked me in. I'm so glad I came in as I have a stye that is now being treated. Thank you!

My experience was great, but have been getting emails and text that I’m overdue for a visit and I was literally there a few days earlier so that’s a bit strange.
Dr. Brown was very thorough, professoinal and very knowledgeable. She was willing to explain everything with a balance of technical and layman terms. I enjoyed, as well as learned throughout the visit.
My wife and I have been a patient of Dr Horning for the past 18 years. This visit today I saw Dr Brown and she was wonderful. The one thing I did not care for was the wait. I waited 15 minutes past my appt time to first be seen. Then another 15 minutes before I saw the Dr. My time is valuable as well and just need to tighten wait time up a bit. Otherwise my wife and I love Rowe and the care we recieve there.
Dr. Brown is great about explaining your results. She is very cordial and professional. The only comment I have is the longer than usual wait time.

We have been seeing Cathy weekly for vision therapy for 6 months. Cathy is AMAZING with my daughter and the improvements my daughter has had so far, have been worth the long car rides each week and the daily homework!! SO thankful we found Rowe eye!!
