About Dr. Kaley Ferro

Dr. Kaley Stinnett Ferro grew up in Hendersonville, TN, where she graduated from Pope John Paul II High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in 2019. Kaley examines patients of all ages and especially loves working with children. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants with her fiancé, Guy, and playing with their dogs, Leo and George.

Great care and most costs were upfront. Some I had to figure out on my own based on my insurance, but it was my first time so maybe that’s the way it’s done.
My overall experience was terrific, and it blew my mind to see how all the staff, including the doctor, were friendly, heart-warm, welcoming, and helpful. I was stunned when I learned some of the staff knew the ABCs in sign language because I am Deaf, making it easier and quicker. However, I was not pleased with one of the staff at the front desk when I entered the building. He didn’t look me in the eye, frowned, didn't smile at me, and looked annoyed and overwhelmed with his job. He also was not friendly or accommodating to me. I almost walked out of the building as soon as I saw him, and then another staff greeted me warmly and offered her help if I needed assistance with picking out new glasses. Her warm smile helped me change my mind and stay for my appointment. After my eye exam, I returned to the staff, who welcomed me warmly and bought new glasses. I can't wait to receive it!

This is a well-run office with friendly office staff and a capable and personable doctor. I have no objective feedback other than clarify parking options to new patients. I'm from DFW and parked on the street and paid for parking, not being familiar with your parking availability. Keep up the fantastic practice!

The whole visit was very pleasant and professional. The staff was happy to provide a quote for new glasses without pressure to buy. My only quibble was that it took two phone calls to get my prescription emailed to me and it seemed like it might be a technical problem with your software, since we confirmed the address both times (and I checked my spam folders on-line and in my own email software). Thanks!

Dr. Stinnett was phenomenal! She truly cared about my health and my past life and she wanted to make sure that I got the best contacts as well as prescription. I will continue to see her!! Thank you!!
My experience was terrific. The staff greeted me as soon as I stepped inside. The eye screening process with Dr. Stinnett was a collaborative experience; I felt heard, not rushed, and left with knowledge about my sight that I didn't know before walking in. The frame selection was plentiful. Add on’s for my lenses were offered but I didn't feel pressured to purchase these options. I would highly recommend Ducklo Eye Care. I'm notoriously critical of services rendered, it's hard to find quality care and customer service of this quality.
Eye checkup went very well and I plan to continue to use Dr. Stinnett and staff. The glass/frame area, though, seemed a bit understaffed during ordering and pickup - I believe the delays were due to a new computer system - the staff, though, were nice and explained the delays - glasses were fine once delivered.
Dr. Stinnet and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job with my eight year old for his first eye appointment. He wasn’t intimidated or worried at all. The only downside was having to wait to be seen about 20 minutes past our appointment time.
Dr. Stinnett was very personable! The staff laughed with us engaged with us to get to know us! We felt like we could be ourselves with them! The entire experience from start to finish felt like a family visit! Dr.S provided education to my wife and I on our exam results and gave recommendations. When it was time to pick out frames I gave a simple description of what I was looking for and was matched perfectly with options! Dr. Sinnett and the staff are very friendly and easy to work with. They got me an appointment pretty quick. My appointment was at 9:30 and I was called back at 9:30. It was a great experience. I wouldn’t change a thing.

I've been coming to Tommy J. for years. Always great staff without fail. They mirror Tommy J's attitude and kindness. One thing I would have you look at is the online booking portal. It had Tommy J available and I booked it. I came in for my appt and was not expected that day as it appears that Tommy J usually was there on that particular day but now not. There needs to be a notification of that from the online booking portal as well as an option to book with someone else. In fine Ducklo fashion though, the staff made way for me to see Dr. Stinnett. I was there longer than I had planned for but the experience was top notch as usual. Especially the sense of humor of the woman who checked me in.
Requested a last minute visit due to an injury to my head and concern over vision issues. 1. Was able to get me in within 2 days. 2. Dr. Stinnett and her assistant were so professional and walked me through the process. 3. Greeted by professional team and was able to get registered in and seen. Ducklo Eye Care is the best and the reason why I come back each year. Look forward to my regular annual visit with in next 3 months.

There was a scheduling snaffu with my appointment. I had booked online, but when I arrived, there was no record of my appointment. However, the front desk staff was kind and was able to timely squeeze me in. My visit was efficient and enjoyable! I also found some nice frames that I need to come back and purchase. Your systems were easy to use and convenient. The doctor and the person I saw before the doctor were knowledgeable, kind, and patient. The staff in the lobby were nice for the most part but there was a lot going on there.
I now have two pair of eyeglasses that do not work as intended…I only need them for computer work but to see clearly on my work computer screens I have to put them cockeyed on my face and often tape it in place so I can see without having to tile my head way back until it is strained…$400 not well spent here!
I really like the care that the doctors and staff provide. The last 5 years I have been going to a "practice" that I did not always feel that way...at least with some of the doctors. I felt rushed there and not confident in their diagnoses (once I received the wrong prescription). I am SO HAPPY to be back with you! I can't think of anything that you could do different to increase the value of service because you are doing so well.
