About Dr. Kambiz Silani
Dr. Kambiz Silani is the chief clinical director of Beverly Hills Optometry. In 2013, he founded their Advanced Dry Eye Center in Beverly Hills, CA. As a second-generation eye care specialist, Dr. Silani’s high-tech practice focuses on using office-based, evidence-based devices to identify, diagnose, and treat various ocular conditions, especially ocular surface disease (OSD).
He earned his Doctor of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, and completed undergraduate studies at UCLA. In the optometric community, his modern approach to treating ocular surface disease—including Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), Dry Eye Disease, Ocular Rosacea, Chalazion, and Blepharitis—has made him an influencer, thought leader, advisor, consultant, and speaker for tech and eye care companies such as Johnson & Johnson Vision, Lumenis, Sight Sciences, Alcon, Oculus USA, NuLids, and PatientPop.
He has been featured on the TV show The Doctors and written as a guest author for publications including Fox News, NBC News, Refinery29, Review of Optometry, Modern Optometry, and Optometry Management. Recently, he was ranked locally and nationally in LA Magazine and Newsweek as one of the Best Eye Doctors (2022 & 2023).
His practice philosophy centers on patient education and empowerment. Many advanced dry eye patients have lost hope through their journey. Despite challenges, as a dedicated practitioner and dry eye expert, he is committed to restoring their vision and quality of life. For over a decade, he has refined his unique dry eye protocol and continues to offer his expertise to those in need.
Dr. Silani enjoys traveling, swimming, and cuisine. In July 2023, he welcomed his first newborn, a son named Kian Cyrus Silani.

They are professional and have all the equipment needed to do same day office procedures if needed. Unfortunately, my insurance plans do not cover the procedures needed. and they are expensive
