About Dr. Kara Hoff-Rackovan

Dr. Kara Hoff completed her undergraduate studies at Missouri State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics. She then obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Dr. Hoff joined Crown Vision Center in 2019. She became an optometrist because, as a child, she loved visiting the eye doctor and getting new eyeglasses. In high school, she learned about the anatomy and physics of the eye, sparking a lasting interest in optometry. Dr. Hoff enjoys being able to positively impact her patients’ everyday lives by improving their vision so they can see at their absolute best.
