About Dr. Karla Quinton

Karla Quinton, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University's School of Optometry in 1985 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University. Dr. Quinton has been practicing optometry since 1985, with a special interest in fitting contact lenses. She has always found the eyes to be a fascinating and complex part of the body. Although blessed with good vision herself, she wanted to pursue a career that would allow her to help others achieve and maintain their best possible vision. Dr. Quinton enjoys meeting new people, discussing their vision needs, and educating them about their eyes so they can understand how to experience optimal vision and eye health in their daily lives. She takes particular care to work with anxious patients to ensure they have a positive experience. When not treating patients, Dr. Quinton likes to travel and spend time with family. She also enjoys the outdoors and participates in activities such as snow skiing, boating, running, and tennis.
