About Dr. Katherine Williams
Katherine Williams, M.D., J.F.A.C.O.G. is a highly trained Obstetrician-Gynecologist joined Midwest Center for Women’s HealthCare in September 2022. Dr. Williams grew up in the Chicagoland area and completed her undergraduate degree at North Central College in Naperville. She is a 2018 graduate of Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Michigan. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Williams sees patients in our Evanston, Skokie, and Buffalo Grove offices and is affiliated with NorthShore University Health System. She is currently accepting new patients.

I cannot recommend Dr.Williams more. She made a nerve wracking experience smooth and handled my concerns with attentiveness and care. As someone who has not gone to a gynecologist due to nerves and prior trauma, I can now say that I found someone who made me feel comfortable being at the doctors office. Truly one of the best doctors I have ever been to.

Dr. Williams was so amazing. She is incredibly kind and made me feel so safe. I did not get the names of her staff but they all were incredibly welcoming, included the woman who took my blood! They explained everything to me beautifully and it was overall a great experience. It was my first time seeing a gynecologist but it felt like I had done this before! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Genuinely really great doctor. Ive seen her only once so far but she came in having read what the intake nurse wrote, made sure I was super comfortable and INFORMED, made me feel comfortable talking about queer sexual health, just all around very kind, communicative, and attentive in her manner I will definitely be going back and recommend seeing her.

I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Williams! She took her time with me to hear all my concerns and answer all my questions. The exam was thorough and she walked me through the process so I knew exactly what was happening. She was kind, friendly and compassionate. I’m very glad to have found her!

Dr. Williams made my first OBGYN experience safe and comfortable. I had avoided gynecologic care my whole adult life after going through sexual abuse as a minor and suffering PTSD from it, but decided it was time to face my fear and go. The experience flew by quickly, she was very accommodating and communicative during the entire process, and I have less anxiety thinking about future health checks.

Truly one of the best ob/gyn appointments I’ve had in my life. Dr. Williams was warm and affable, extremely knowledgeable, and put me at ease in a way that is remarkably rare when you’re half naked with a stranger performing an exam. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor that will be a partner and active listener (in fact I already have).

Everyone was so friendly and excited for my fiancee and I about our new baby. I could tell right from the first ultrasound appt that they were invested in the long run. I loved that from the first ultrasound they gave me an after hours emergency nber to call and reassured me that no question was too small or insignificant and to call them with anything!!
