About Dr. Kathryn Edwards
Dr. Kathryn Edwards is an exceptionally trained, board certified Allergist and Immunologist who specializes in diagnosis and treatment of seasonal and environmental allergies, food allergies, skin conditions such as hives and eczema, and asthma. Dr. Edwards performed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware. Subsequently, she joined the United States Army, attending the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences for medical school. Afterward, she completed a Pediatric residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and became a Board Certified Pediatrician.
After several years serving military families and deploying to Iraq to care for those in harm’s way, she was selected into the highly competitive Allergy and Immunology fellowship program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, which included training at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). After graduation, Dr. Edwards was stationed at the San Antonio Military Medical Center, the Army’s largest and busiest medical center.
There she served several years as assistant chief, before being selected as chief of Allergy/Immunology for her final 3 years in the military, completing a 16 year career. Dr. Edwards provides the full spectrum of Allergy and Immunology care for all age ranges, neonate to geriatric.

The drive was about 50 minutes for me, but definitely well worth it. I have a hard time hearing, but really didn't have an issue with her because she spoke loud & clear and was extremely thorough and informative. I will definitely be coming back!

Every person in office was nice and friendly, front desk staff, nurses, etc. Dr. was very nice she didn’t rush, listened to our concerns, explained everything. The staff even called back later in day because the dr looked up something we discussed during appointment. The nurses were amazing. My daughter had to do breathing test and allergy test they explained everything to her in terms she understood and was comfortable with.
