What should a new client know about working with you?

Kayla views therapy as a collaborative process and works with her clients to help create and maintain a safe space to explore and interact with one's thoughts and feelings. The process for new clients is to schedule an intake session through ZocDoc. Clients will then receive a confirmation email and instructions from our Client Care Coordinator . All further scheduling will be done directly through your therapist. Please note there is paperwork to be completed before your intake session (more information will be included on your confirmation email).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERAPY SESSIONS ARE CONDUCTED WEEKLY ON THE SAME DAY AND TIME. Clients will typically have 2 intake sessions in which the therapist will ask some questions about their presenting issue, upbringing, current living situation, support system, symptoms, and experiences across the lifespan. The therapist will then issue a diagnosis and set up a treatment plan for the client, which may involve weekly therapy sessions for a certain period of time.
