About Dr. Kendra Hatfield

Dr. Hatfield grew up in the small town of Gilbert, located in the coal fields of southern West Virginia. She graduated from Marshall University and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Hatfield practiced in several different states and practice until 2013 when she founded her practice, Tradewinds Optometric Group, in Mooresville, North Carolina. Dr. Hatfield is active in the community and is a member of the North Carolina State Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. She resides in Davidson with her husband, their son Alexander, and their Siberian husky, Aspen. She is an avid fan of Marshall University sports and the Carolina Panthers!

Dr. Hatfield was very professional and went through the several stages of the exam and explained the results very clearly. She explained the pros and cons of digital imaging and I was persuaded to use that test for my eye health.

Dr. Hatfield was recommended to me. This was the first t time seeing an eye dr since moving to NC. Examine was very thorough, every test was completely explained. Dr. Hatfield was in the exam room waiting for me. What a change. The Dr was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, thorough and answered all my questions. Picking out new glasses was too easy. The whole staff was wonderful.
