Dr. Alleyne himself was nice and competent. His staff is a nightmare. No one answers the phone or returns phone calls. Scheduling an MRI has been a nightmare. I don't understand if his staff doesn't work most days, is incompetent, or is just drowning in so much work that they literally can't answer the phone. There is no hold system, only voicemail. I was sent to an after hours line when I called at 2:30pm on Wednesday. Like this is literally a doctor that you cannot reach if you need to. It's insane.
I normally don’t leave reviews but this appointment was just horrible. Was examined for approximately 30 seconds then transferred to do an MRI. Still had to follow up per mail to get the actual MRI appointment (not scheduled on the weekday I asked for) and prescription sent to my pharmacy.
Not happy at all. Billing took 10 months and payment information was lost repeatedly. Payment was also very high for a 10 minute appointment in which I did not feel listened to and massage was given as the treatment option.
Dr. Alleyne is very professional, however his office is very disorganized. They did not get back to me in a timely manner and didn't follow up with me until after I had gone to see another doctor.
Dr.Alleyne is great. He diagnosed my problem, explained the range of treatment and gave me advice on how to not worsen the issue in the meantime.
Dr. Kenneth was amazing! He was very nice, answered all my questions, was extremely knowledgable, and I was in and out of the office in about 20 minutes.

Dr. Alleyne instantly made me feel at ease. He listened attentively to my concerns and was able to easily assess my pain. He prescribed minimal medication, suggested natural alternatives, and was honest. If the opportunity arises again, I will definitely revisit his office.
It was short... If you're coming for a visit for something you can find online (ie. minor wrist pain), don't come. If it's serious, I'm sure the visit would be better.

STAY AWAY! IRRESPONSIBLE WITH PATIENTS. I went in on a Friday, which is the ONLY day he works at this office. After sending me for an MRI, he never reached out to give me my results. Two weeks later I had to be seen by another professional. IRRESPONSIBLE and lack of sensitivity to his patients needs. NEVER AGAIN.
Never got back to me regarding results for right shoulder with partial tendon tear. I had to go back to work. I called numerous times. Dr Alleyne never returned my calls.
I’m writing this after several phone calls and emails went unanswered by the New York Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (NYOSM) clinic staff. I’ve seen Dr. Kenneth for sports related advice and what is called preventive medicine (which apparently doesn’t exist in the US). I’m an athlete and undertaker of extreme sports challenges, one of which I was seeking professional medical guidance and supervision for. Dr. Kenneth’s feedback with poor to say the least. He treated my concerns lightly, didn’t perform any check ups or order any tests. He said that there’s nothing he can do for me other than prescribe some emergency meds that I can carry on my sports tour and offered to send an email with related advice. No meds were prescribed and he never sent that email even after repeated reminders to the clinic staff who confirmed that they passed them along to him. After this, I requested that I get a refund for my co-pay as I’m seeking the same medical advice somewhere else, to which I continue receive no response more than 4 weeks after the initial visit.
Very positive. Dr. Alleyne was efficient and friendly, I didn’t feel rushed, got answers to all my questions, and definitely felt that my concerns were heard.
Great visit was able to tell what was wrong and recommended natural vitamins to alleviate the pain.
I was extremely impressed! I scheduled an appointment two hours before I was seen. The moment that Dr. Alleyne walked in, I felt comfortable. He is very straightforward, honest and gives you options. You feel as though he is truly listening to you and cares. I would recommend him to anyone!!!!
The visit was amazing. Waited about 10 minutes and was placed into a waiting room in which i waited like 2 minutes. Doctor came in and i explained to him what was happening, the doctor automatically knew what was wrong. I will be back in a month for follow up.
Dr. Alleyne and his team run a very efficient operation. He was able to sit down with me, listen and apply my symptoms to a prognosis and make a game plan to get me well again.

The only complaint is there aren't more stars to give, Dr alleyne is the man!
My first visit with Dr. Alleyne was promising, however, after that I was greeted with nothing but apathy and a general inconsideration of my time and pain. I made countless attempts to speak with him about my pain, yet, he never returned any of my phone calls. When I finally did get in touch with someone in the office to schedule an MRI (it took about two and a half weeks), when I arrived at the radiologist, there was no paper work sent over and no record of me. When I rescheduled, he prescribed an MRI for the wrong body part. Finally, when I got the proper MRI, he never called with the results or to follow up. Don't go to this man.
Waited over an hour for a 5 minute visit where he provided no insight beyond what I read on WebMD. Office verified he was 'in-network' before my appointment (even taking a co-pay) and then billed me as 'out-of-network' 6 months later and told me it wasn't their responsibility to verify if he was actually in network.

I truly recommend Dr. Alleyne, as his bedside manner is always very kind and considerate. He was once again thorough in his explanation of my condition. He is not just concerned with giving me a diagnosis but also concerned with the type of treatment that I am comfortable with and that I have a full understanding and in agreement with. The office staff are very kind and accommodating, from the inception to departure. The office is very clean and gives a warm feeling while awaiting your appointment.
In 2016 after badly tearing my Labrum Dr. Alleyne surgically repaired it. After a year of PT and very light weight training my shoulder is as good as new. I'm in the best shape of my life with no shoulder discomfort whatsoever. Two thumbs up!

I felt like I was not given adequate time or attention for my visit, and Dr. Alleyne said he would recommend some physical therapists but when I looked at the papers he gave me, it was literally just a printed Google search for physical therapists in SoHo.
