Dr. Ken Fortier is a preeminent provider of women’s healthcare known throughout the triangle for his compassionate, personalized, patient-centered practice style. He has been on the faculty of obstetrics and gynecology at both Duke and UNC.
After graduating from Dartmouth College (summa cum laude) and Dartmouth Medical School, he trained in obstetrics and gynecology and joined the faculty at Duke University School of Medicine [where he was known for his patient-centered care and his teaching]. He has since enjoyed private practice of ob/gyn in Raleigh and being a Clinical Professor at UNC School of Medicine.
He has established Fortier Gynecology as an intentionally small and intimate practice for both well-woman and expert gynecologic care as a place where women can feel comfortable and receive truly personalized professional care from a doctor and staff who know them. He hopes to provide respite from the often rushed and sometimes impersonal experiences in larger more corporate practices.
