About Dr. Kim Nguyen
Kim Nguyen, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in 2013 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 2006.
Dr. Nguyen specializes in contact lenses. Her experience with myopia, also known as nearsightedness, began at an early age when she struggled to see at a distance and had to stand next to the whiteboard to take notes. She was soon fitted for glasses and contacts, which immensely improved her vision and quality of life. Dr. Nguyen’s personal experience with myopia developed into a passion for optometry, giving her the opportunity to incorporate her love for both medicine and science. Optometry allows Dr. Nguyen to detect, treat, and manage various ocular conditions to help patients achieve and maintain their maximal visual potential and ocular health.
In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, drawing, and staying active through outdoor activities and sports.

I had an amazing experience at Woodbury Eye Clinic. Dr. Nguyen is so nice and extremely knowledgeable. She made me feel at ease and gave me piece of mind that my eyes are healthy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

It’s evident that Dr. Nguyen enjoys what she does. I appreciate that she gave me a brief education related to my exam and any concerns resulting from the exam. It seems like some of the equipment is older than it should be. The new facilities are nice.

Dr. Kim Ngyuyen is awesome. I did not feel rushed and she took the time to listen and answer all of my questions. Very relatable personality. I felt she did a thorough exam. Entire practice would get a 10. However, I do seek eye care in a more clinical setting due to the patient/doctor relationship that forms. I try to avoid store front eye clinics. I have had a ophthalmologist as my primary in the past due to recurring chalazion condition. But Dr. Kim is awesome. Good luck on her engagement…

I called on my day off to get the soonest appt for another Friday and they just happened to work me in that day! I got my contacts order and they gave me a pair to hold me over till my new order came and I was able to try on new glasses, get fitted and order a new pair all in one visit, Dr. Nguyen was just a gem!!!!
