About Dr. Kim Tran

Dr. Tran was born in Sioux City, IA, moved to Houston, TX in the middle of her childhood, and moved to Philadelphia, PA for her optometry education. Prior to optometry school, she had been working in the optometric field as an optometric technician, optician, and optical lab technician. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Doctorate degree of optometry from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2021. She was active in her optometry school's community, including working as a teacher assistant in the Clinical Skills lab and Optics lab, treasurer of Contact Lens Club, and office manager of Student Optometric Services to Humanities (SOSH). She also participated in volunteer work to provide optometric care in Panama. Dr. Tran completed her 4th year externship at Family Vision Center where she fell in love with Colorado and decided to make a permanent move to the Mile High City. Her professional interests include specialty contact lens, myopia management, and dry eye disease. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting random knick-knacks, baking and decorating sweet treats, and spending time with her husband Henry and fur babies. Dr. Tran is devoted to exemplary patient care and works hard to make each patient feel welcomed and satisfied with their eye care needs by continuing her professional education and staying up-to-date with the latest studies and technology.
