About Dr. Kimberly Biss
Dr. Kimberly Biss is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the Florida Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, Pinellas County Medical Society, and the Florida Medical Society.
Dr. Biss graduated with a bachelor’s in biology from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass., and earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass. Dr. Biss completed her surgical internship at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and her ob-gyn residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Fla.
During her time at Bayfront Health, Dr. Biss has held numerous positions within the hospital’s committees, including serving on the Board of Trustees, Physicians Technology Council and as Chairman of the OBGYN department. She was named chief of staff in January 2020.
Dr. Biss has sat on the committee for the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Annual Auction for the past eight years. Outside of the office, Dr. Biss enjoys spending time with her husband, Gerard, and their two children, Zachary and KaLeigh.

Dr. Biss and staff always make me feel heard and cared for. Dr. Biss herself is ferociously competent and draws the same type of people to work in her practice. I recommend New Beginnings to any woman of any age.

This was my first visit. The front office staff was very nice and the waiting area was very clean. There is someone to monitor your temp before walking in and they wiped down everything from people coming and going. Dr Biss took the time to listen and make a plan with me about my future and that was comforting. My tech during intake was very nice and reassuring. Highly recommend.
