About Dr. Kirk Maynard

Dr. Kirk Maynard completed his undergraduate studies at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He furthered his education by obtaining a Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Maynard spent 23 years serving his country in the Air Force, where he was twice honored as Optometrist of the Year. During his Air Force career, he directed several clinical internship programs and held adjunct clinical faculty positions at Ferris State College of Optometry, Indiana University College of Optometry, University of Houston College of Optometry, and the Illinois College of Optometry. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Cynthia, and their two children.
