“This provider did more for me than any other I've had since I started getting glasses. Turns out some information was missed and not noted in my chart. Instead of assuming that I knew, she walked me through it and told me the next steps. She took my concerns seriously and told me what to look out for. Her bed side manner is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Even though I was late, they handled it gracefully. Cannot recommend enough!”

Undergraduate education: Radford University. Optometry School: Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, 2011. Professional Achievements/Associations: Health Profession Scholarship Program Awardee, 2008; Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Navy, 2011; Armed Forces Optometry Society Junior Optometrist of The Year, 2019; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal (2); Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal; Armed Forces Service Medal; Navy Accession Training Service Medal; Optometry Externship Director for 5 optometry schools. During my tenure as an active duty naval optometrist from 2011 to 2023, I had the privilege of delivering comprehensive ocular health and commissioning examinations to military members and their beneficiaries. This experience allowed me to not only serve our dedicated service members but also make a meaningful impact on their families' well-being. I take immense pride in providing routine and emergency eye care services to our community, knowing that my work enables individuals to enjoy their best possible lives. My passion for helping others through the realm of optometry has been a driving force throughout my career. I find great satisfaction in ensuring that people have access to high-quality eye care, which, in turn, contributes to their overall health and quality of life. In addition to my professional career, I'm also a dedicated "hockey mom," actively supporting my children's love for the sport. I'm a passionate skier, finding exhilaration on snow-covered slopes.

Enjoyed this office far more than the busy-ness of Gainesville, Clarendon, and what used to be Warrenton. This is my 4th MyEyeDr location and I like this one the best. I didn't feel pressured or rushed. Everything seemed handled well including a question about insurance and coverage. Things were straightforward and good directions provided for pursuit of a sizeable rebate.
