About Dr. Kyle Stott
Dr. Stott was born and raised in the city of Lancaster, CA in northern Los Angeles County. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management he went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. His internship rotations in Memphis included The Eye Center (the largest clinic of its kind in North America), Family Vision Care, and the Memphis Veteran’s Association Medical Center.
Dr. Stott is a versatile practitioner who enjoys practicing to the fullest extent of his scope. On top of performing routine vision care, Dr. Stott is skilled in detection and treatment of various medical eye conditions including chronic ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Dry Eye, and Diabetic Retinopathy. Additionally, he enjoys providing treatment for acute eye problems such as foreign bodies, infections, injuries, and red eyes.
He is experienced in fitting a variety of contact lenses that range from standard soft lenses to specialty contact lens fits for irregular corneas. He is also certified in orthokeratology to reduce progression of nearsightedness in children and for allowing patients to be free of contact lenses or glasses during the day.
Prior to moving to Gilbert, AZ in 2018, Dr. Stott lived and practiced in his wife’s hometown of Coeur d’Alene, ID. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children and likes to spend his spare time exercising, playing volleyball, and riding dirtbikes.

I had a dry eye experience where my lid stuck to my cornea in the middle of the night. This Dr.s Office got me an appointment that next day and my eye was watering....anyone out there had Lasik surgery and had a dry eye cornea tear? This Doctor is so compassionate and his staff was so caring....you will not be disappointed. I am scheduling my annual eye review with this office due to this experience!

I was largely unimpressed with this visit overall, it was my first time there, and while the dr. himself was very nice and thorough, I was put off by his staff, mainly because I felt like they were trying to upsell me on stuff that was either purely an additional cost, or just completely unnecessary. From services to “newer” machines, everything had an additional cost, some upgrade that insurance didn’t cover, always for an additional price. I was only there for an annual eye exam… so, when I passed on all the costly extras, I felt like they pushed one more time, with a bit of mild shame and judgement, just to try and get me to spend money. Not very welcoming to feel like in order to get good care, I need to upgrade. In fact, it only made me want to get out of there.
Final thoughts: Not a good enough first experience for me to consider going back. I’ll easily find another eye doctor,, and let this one’s staff penny push someone else.

The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The young lady who did the preliminaries before I saw the doctor was very professional and thorough. I totally forgot the women’s up front names. But they’re so kind, made me feel welcomed and help me picked out my glasses. I’m so indecisive and she stayed patient with me while going over more than 20 pairs of glasses. She even went to the back to check if they had more styles that she thought I would like. This was my first time visiting and overall a great experience. Please keep it up! This makes me want to keep coming back.

From the time I walked in to the time I left I was made to feel comfortable. Dr. Scott listened to me and explained to me my results, he made a referral to take a look at my issue and when I was ready to return for my exam for glasses.
