Undergraduate Education: University of North Florida, Bachelor of Business Administration; Optometry School: Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry; Professional Achievements and Associations: Georgia Optometric Association, American Optometric Association; Clinical Certifications and Specialities: Residency in Primary Care and Low Vision, Lake City VA medical clinic; The reason I became an optometrist is from high school anatomy class. From there, I developed a fascination for the human eye. That fascination combined with my desire to pursue a career where I could make a difference in people's lives, led me to optometry. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching TV, and traveling with my wife. My favorite part of helping my patients is being able to make a patient's life more enjoyable by helping them see better.
