About Dr. Larissa Lempert
In my professional experience as a neurologist I realized that the best way to approach my patients' neurological problems is to spend most of my time listening to my patients, understanding their concerns and responding with the best treatment options available. I want my patients to be informed about their neurological problems and treatments, because informed patients make better decisions about their health and well being. That is why I've included a section on my website covering common topics associated with neurology and common neurological problems. I encourage you to look through these pages whenever you have an interest or concern related to your neurological health. I appreciate the opportunity to care for my existing patients and welcome any new patients to join my practice.

Patient reviews for Dr. Larissa Lempert
short wait time and doctor was very patient and answered all questions.
Didn’t ask manny questions or have much to tell me. Seemed like a money grab to just order as many tests as possible.
she was very thorough, and detailed. she looks at you as at the whole person.
The doctor is very knowledgeable and attentive.
Very dismissive, not willing to listen to what you have to say. Took 3 days for them to submit a procedure for prior approval to insurance company - only to submit, let alone insurance processing time. Basically brushed me off, did not provide solutions or testing, said go to emergency if it gets worse. Well, why did I bother coming in then? Stay away.
My appointment with Dr. Lempert went well. I would recommend her to anyone who needs to see an neurologist .
This was my first visit with Dr. Lempert, I found her to be very attentive, thorough and professional. She asked detail questions and was very engaging to understand my concerns. I would definitely recommend her.
The visit was alright. Nothing was diagnosed or treated yet so I have no real opinion yet.
Very personable, and really took the time to explain her thoughts and set us up with a plan of action. Very glad we choose her.
General good, but doesn’t not always listen attentively.
My visit was very good. Bedside manner excellent and staff is very nice.
Although professional, I don't feel like she made much effort to diagnose my concussion. I asked about stress and she offered an electro-therapy program she runs. I had heard enough to know that this was not the care I was looking for.
Dr. Lempert is very knowledgable and good at her job. She seems to have a holistic view of health and understands the human body at large, and I was impressed an encouraged by her observations of my lab tests and symptoms. I highly recommend her.
It was so quick! I didn’t learn much more than I did on Web md. There was physical examination of the area of complaint. No test of what movements caused pain, which did not. While she was nice, many questions remain. I am not sure, at this point, whether i will return.
Little wait time
Nice staff and good doctor. Very kind.
She was absolutely amazing and her treatment has helped so much. I appreciate her knowledge and also how kind and understanding she is with me and my daughter.
My visit with Dr. Lempert was a great experience.
Dr. Lempert was professional. She gave me a physical check up. She recommended different tests which I appreciated. Also the staff was wonderful.
Best experience ever. This doctor is one of the best in NY.
I liked her very much, her staff was very professional & helpful
She was very caring and listened well and allowed me to ask a lot of questions. Very reassuring and thorough.
Caring and knowledgeable Very personable Had some fresh ideas for my health issue
Excellent doctor.
One of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. Very thorough and makes sure to cover all basis. Very friendly and attentive.
Doctor Lempert answered all my questions as usual. Little waiting time. Polite staff. I enjoy working with her. Her emphasis on diet and supplements as well as the usual medical methods suits me.
Very personable doctor. Helps with all concerns.
She listened carefully so I felt she understood my concerns.
It was a great visit. Everyone there is so kind. I appreciate that.
Exelent doctor, all my questions were answered and explained. Nice girls (front desk and technician), responsive and helpful.
I was seen by doctor today and felt very comfortable with her she listens carefully and seems very knowledgeable! Will be coming back
Need a new system and a few classes on professionalism!
Today was my frist day meeting DR. Lasrissa Lempert , her technician and one of her receptionist. They all listen to what I had to say and Dr. Laridsa Lempert wasted no time in ordering particular tests needed. She is very sweet & relaxed. I will be returning to Dr. Larissa Lempert continue with my follow up appointment.
Surprisingly it was successful. My appointment was at 2:30 and I was seen at 2:30. Her staff was very polite on a professional level. Wish I had met her last year.
I love Dr.Lempert! She's been amazing from the moment I met her!!!
It was great shes a good doctor and very thoural
An unsuccessful visit, was over charged even though they claimed to take my insurance, a pleasant enough visit with Dr Lempert but with no advice given other than to prescribe an exhorbitant amount of blood work. (Even the lab I went to was surprised by how many tests she asked for.) The doctor refused to give me any commentary about my persistent migraines although I came with my full list of directives and meds prescribed by my previous neurologist (who unfortunately no longer takes my insurance) After sending the blood work did not receive a call or any follow up from the doctor. My insurance was not able to recover the payment for the visit.
Great doctor, put me on the meds I needed and gave me nutrition advice (adderal won't work if you put yourself into a twinkie coma)
Doctor was nice and there wasnt a long wait but she didnt take the time to explain anything or truly understand why I was there and quickly answered questions I asked to better understand medicine she wanted to give me and tests she recommended.
She made sure everything was ok with me she listen she book me appointments right away to get me seen she is a very good neurologist
I went to her because she advertises that she is an expert on THE GAP diet. But when I asked her about it, she wouldn't tell me anything. She said she's a neurologist. Recommended I buy the book which I had.
She is doing some blood tests and nerve tests to see what are the next steps. I think this is a good approach. Hopefully, a simple diagnosis will be able to address my problem. Very pleasant and professional from everyone in the office.
It was great looking forward to seeing her again
Appointment wait time is long. Seems to talk to other colleagues the entire time you're waiting. Seems to be kind but not empathetic of what you're going through.
Appointments take awhile but she is very good. Will go through everything with you.
Dr. Lempert, is professional and thorough. She searches for the answers! I love her :-)
She was nice but, all she recommend for me was a diet. I had to beg her to let me get an MRI because of my constant migraines. I will not be going back to her as I feel she does not specialize in migraines.
She was very attentive.
This was my first visit to a Neurologist and everyone in the office was very kind and courteous. Dr. Lempert took her time with me to ask many questions to start getting to the bottom of what I came to see her for. I was very pleased with her detail to attention and looking forward to continuing to work with her.
pleased
