“I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by Christie. She had me complete some very easy paperwork as I did that she input the medication list that I had brought with me into the computer. I was promptly taken back and she administered some tests. I was then taken to Doctor Schillig’s room and greeted by the doctor promptly. She was very sweet and very professional. She conducted the tests that she needed to and seemed to be very thorough. She asked if I had any questions which I did not, as I’m kind of an old pro at this. She handed me my prescription and walked me out to the front and introduce me to Oscar who had me sit down and he went over what I might be interested in in the way of the type of lenses for glasses that I might be interested in and the potential cost. He was not pushy at all, and I explained that I am probably going to use some of my own frames and that I will be back.
It was a great experience and I’d recommend Dr. Schillig and this office without reservation.”

Dr. Schillig has been in practice since 2003 and joined Alvernon Optical in 2019. She enjoys working with children and adults to help optimize their vision. Dr. Schillig earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus, OH. Outside of the office, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
