Dr Schmitt grew up in Northern Kentucky and went to undergrad at NKU where she majored in microbiology and minored in chemistry. She received her optometry doctorate at the University of Alabama School of Optometry. Dr. Schmitt specializes in primary eye care, treatment of dry eyes, glaucoma, eye disease/infections and specialty contact lenses. She is kind, honest and passionate about helping her patients see to their fullest potential. Dr. Schmitt cares about her patients as if they were her own family. She goes above and beyond to find the perfect solution for each patient's individual needs.
