Dr. Friedman trained at the University of the Witwatersrand Faculty of Health Sciences in South Africa and completed his residency there as well. He worked as the chief of a burn unit prior to moving to Dallas. He started his practice in Richardson in 198_. Dr. Friedman has extensive experience working in general medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN (he no longer delivers babies), dermatology, asthma/allergy, and various other fields. His patients repeatedly comment on his humor and bedside manner, and many have been with the practice for over 15 years.
Dr. Friedman's wife, Lorene, routinely helps out in the office and is certified to perform various cosmetic procedures. Dr. Friedman has three children, all of whom are also involved in the medical field (two doctors, one dentist).
In his free time, Dr. Friedman enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and training his two parrots to say various amusing phrases.
