About Dr. Liana Switzer
Dr. Switzer discovered her love of helping people while working at Honolulu Eye Clinic during her time at Hawaii Pacific University. After living in Boston and earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry, she had a short stint in the Bay Area before moving back to the Sacramento area to be closer to her father, a retired Air Force veteran, and her Korean mother. When not working, she enjoys trying new foods and wine, exploring the outdoors, maintaining a great skincare regimen, and spending time with her husband and baby boy.

In my 68+ years, this was by far the best experience I've ever had with an optometrist. I went in expecting a regular prescription appointment with the usual "Which one is clearer?" questions, but it was so much more. First, Dr. Switzer definitely had the latest and greatest examination equipment. Secondly, I walked away with a comprehensive eye exam far superior to any I had in the past with an ophthalmologist. Finally, she patiently answered all my many questions. If there was an option, I would give more than five stars.
From the start, the ease of booking my appointment online, being able to complete all the necessary paperwork comfortably at home on my computer, and finally the total environment and support staff make me want to refer Dr. Switzer to everyone I know!

Definitely would go back. Environment was very clean and professional. the staff were very friendly and helpful to answering questions I had asked. They accept eye med insurance and do have a wide selections of eyeglasses to whatever you like . Check them out!
