“Dr. Jackson was very nice, attentive, and an active listener. I only came in for an annual pap smear no concerns. She came in first introduced herself asked some intake questions & then came back after I changed to do the pap. She performed the pap so fast & swiftly. Fastest pap smear I’ve ever gotten, but she was very gentle and it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. Also wanted to mention the front desk staff. She was great and so friendly, wish I would’ve asked her name.”

About Dr. Lisa Jackson
Dr. Jackson is a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist. She received her bachelors degree in Economics from New York University, and her medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She completed her residency training in Chicago at Rush University Medical Center. Upon her return to NYC in 2007, Dr. Jackson worked as a staff physician at Jamaica Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital, where she supervised residents, taught medical students, and worked in clinics in underserved areas in Queens, and East Harlem. She has also worked in the world of private practice on the upper west side for several years. Currently she is an Assistant Clinical Professor of OBGYN at Mount Sinai, and has worked primarily as a laborist for the last 2 1/2 years.
Dr. Jackson’s areas of interest include adolescent health, contraceptive education, obstetrical health, and labor/postpartum support. Her goal is to provide support and guidance to her patients wherever they are in their reproductive or post-reproductive journey.
Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, pilates, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
