About Dr. Lisa Kathleen Masters Groves
Lisa K. Groves, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri. Inspired by her blind great-grandmother, Dr. Groves is passionate about improving and preserving people's vision. She especially enjoys diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as dry eye, meibomian gland dysfunction, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts, as well as fitting contact lenses.
Dr. Groves finds great fulfillment in helping patients of all ages achieve and maintain the highest quality of vision through thorough ocular health examinations and preventative care. A life-changing experience for her was a mission trip to Mexico, where she helped provide eye care and glasses to 29,000 people.
Currently, Dr. Groves serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the Missouri Optometric Association, and the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, boating, camping, and traveling.
