About Dr. Louis Kalish

Louis B. Kalish, M.D., earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where he also completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics. He acquired his Allergy and Clinical Immunology specialty training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Kalish is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Dr. Kalish is actively involved with both patient and family asthma education programs. He has authored both scientific papers and abstracts regarding medications used in the treatment of asthma and exercise-induced asthma. His primary areas of interest include the management of pediatric asthma and food allergy. Dr. Kalish and his wife Betty have three children, Joshua, Sara, and Hannah. Dr. Kalish is an avid cyclist and participates yearly in charity rides for both the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Diabetes Association. He has been a physician volunteer for Camp Barney Medintz for more than a decade. Dr. Kalish joined Atlanta Allergy & Asthma in 1997 and sees patients at our Kennestone and East Cobb locations.
