About Dr. Louis Ramon

Louis Ramon, O.D., is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Certified Glaucoma Specialist. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2006 and vowed to stay close to home to serve his local community. He also completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Houston, where he graduated magna cum laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. In addition to treating your vision needs, Dr. Ramon treats glaucoma, dry eye, eye infections, and eye muscle issues, removes metallic foreign bodies, and can diagnose many vision-threatening eye conditions. He is also trained to co-manage cataract and Lasik surgery patients. In his free time away from the office, Dr. Louis Ramon enjoys playing indoor and outdoor soccer, softball, tennis, and pool. He also participates in 5k runs and half marathons. He is a die-hard Houston Dynamo fan and attends as many home games as possible. He loves watching movies, going on cruises with his longtime girlfriend, walking his two dogs, speaking Spanish, and practicing Cantonese.
