From helping young women transition into adulthood to delivering their babies to being there for their more painful and vulnerable moments, it’s a privilege to be a part of those personal times in their lives. Because every woman is different, I have a very individualized approach when I meet with patients. It’s important for me to listen to what their health care needs and wants are. At Duke, we have cutting-edge technology, specialists, and so many resources available. If I have a patient that I need help with, either within the Ob-Gyn department or with another specialty, I have people that I can easily ask across the system.
