About Dr. Luke Howard
Dr. Howard is a proud Kansas native, born and raised in Wichita. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Washburn University, where he also played NCAA tennis for the Ichabods. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2025.
During his training, Dr. Howard gained extensive clinical experience managing a variety of ocular conditions including macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy while practicing at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. As a full-scope optometrist, he is committed to providing comprehensive eye care to meet all of your vision needs.
PLEASE NOTE: We use online booking for comprehensive annual eye exams only. Our doctors treat and manage dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration and many other common eye diseases and issues. These appointments have different places on our schedule that make booking online difficult. Thank you for choosing us!

Probably one of my better, if not best visits at an eye doctor in a while.
Thoroughly impressed with the technician who helped do my pre-testing before the actual visit. (She was great and professional-sorry i dont know her name)
Dr. Luke did an amazing job not only with listening to me about my hefty history, but was great with feedback and suggestions to help get the most out of my situation.
Being a doctor myself, this is exactly how Id want my office to perform and treat other patients. (Kudos to everyone including the front desk)
