About Dr. Luke Spangler

While I've spent years studying the science of medicine, I find increasing importance in applying this science while building relationships with patients. Family medicine offers me so many opportunities to be curious about my patients' lives. That curiosity helps me ask the right questions to figure out how or why someone might have a medical condition, and how best to address it. I am a firm believer in living a balanced life filled with healthy habits. I don't just tell my patients how important it is to make healthy decisions; I make those decisions myself. I want to work with patients to prevent illness and disease whenever possible, because I know that leads to the best quality of life. My wife and our two daughters live in Fort Mill, and are very active in our community, including our church. Teaching my kids new sports and outdoor activities are some of the best parts of being a dad. I stay active playing pickleball, and I want our kids to learn how important and fulfilling staying active can be. And as I get older, I am also finding out how important it is to stretch! Planting trees, gardening and sprucing up my house's landscaping also keep me busy and bring me joy.
