About Dr. Lynda Dao

Dr. Dao was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She has been in the eye care profession for over 17 years and was ABO certified as an optician in 1996 while pursuing her undergraduate studies. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell & Molecular Biology from Tulane University in 1998. Dr. Dao completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2002.
After practicing in Houston for almost two years, Dr. Dao relocated to North Texas and has proudly served the patients of Arlington and Fort Worth since 2003. She is happily married to an attorney, and they have twin girls. The family resides in Las Colinas.

Ariel saw Dr. Bean and had a great experience. Super friendly staff. They recommended glasses that were covered by her insurance, which was really helpful.

The receptionists were very kind, and understanding. The doctor was also great, but I would have liked it better if she would have given me a quick rundown on what was going on with my son's vision. With that said, I will definitely continue to utilize her services.

Was my daughter first eye appointment. Also a follow up from an earlier ER visit she got stabbed in the eye with a pencil. The whole team was great with her and made her first visit fun and enjoyable.

You have the rudest receptionist ever. I will NEVER be back. That chick needs to be fired. She was too busy stuffing her face to talk to me. She kept telling me that I was wrong in my appt time when I had texts and emails showing my time. I am appalled.

I did not meet with Dr. Dao. I had actually met with a male OD, but I cannot remember his name. Sorry! The girls in the front were very pleasant, helpful, and approachable. While you are waiting to be called back, there is a TV that can keep you entertained if you get tired of looking at the pamphlets and displays that are up. The male OD was very nice as well, and he gave me very useful information that I could definitely use in the future.

I actually didn't see Lynda Dao. My daughter was seen by one of her rotating colleagues. However, she was very professional and thorough. She answered all of our questions no matter how simple. I was pleased with my visit despite the long wait. One growth area for the office would be the receptionist. There were two of them . . . one was sweet as pie and the other was bah humbug! Customer Service is key! The receptionist who I labeled “bah humbug” even snapped at her co-worker.
