About Dr. Magdalena Bak
Dr. Magdalena Bak graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010.
Dr. Bak has had the professional privilege of working in specialty settings focusing on primary pediatric care and nursing home geriatric care. While providing comprehensive eye examinations for all ages, she emphasizes dry eye management and the nutritional management of eye disease. Dr. Bak co-founded Rosley Eye Care to create an environment that offers trustworthy and comprehensive care for every member of the family.
Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Bak enjoys spending time with her dog Romeo, going for long runs, and trying new dishes in the kitchen when she is not seeing patients.

My checkup was fantastic. Dr. Bak went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in order with my eye health. It had been a long time since I last had my eyes dilated, so I appreciated the thoroughness of the exam. The staff was also wonderful, they helped me pick out some stylish new glasses that I can’t wait to wear. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Bak and her team!

This was a really great experience. I went in for an annual eye exam for glasses but ended up having the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. She checked so many things that had never been checked before and worked with me to come up with a plan to treat an ongoing eye issue. I wish I had found this practice sooner.

Dr. Bak and her team provided the best eye dr. appointment I've ever had (I'm not just saying that, I really mean it). She listened to all my concerns, fixed a problem with my contacts prescription I've been dealing with for years, and I felt so comfortable throughout the whole experience.
