About Dr. Mahendra Sohan
Dr. Sohan is a board-certified physician with over 25 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center. As an expert gynecologic surgeon, he has performed thousands of minimally invasive surgical procedures, providing relief to women suffering from heavy bleeding, severe cramps, pelvic pain, infertility, and more.
He believes that pain and scarring after surgery should be minimal, recovery time as short as possible, and complication rates extremely low. Dr. Sohan performs a wide array of gynecological procedures using minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotically assisted surgical techniques. He balances technical and clinical expertise with the ability to connect with his patients, offering a uniquely personalized approach to treatment.

Waited over three hours for my appointment even though I showed up early and filled out my forms in time. Once I saw the doctor, I had to wait again for another hour to get my urine test. Don’t recommend coming here!

I was having heavy menstrual bleeding and I needed the bleeding to stop. Doctor listened and was able to give me medication to stop it. Gave me also further advice want to do afterwards to prevent more heavy bleeding
