About Dr. Malika Rajendra

Dr. Malika Rajendra was raised in Fayette County, Georgia. She graduated from Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, GA, in 2004. Dr. Rajendra studied Microbiology at the University of Georgia, where she graduated with honors in 2007. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, graduating in 2012. Dr. Rajendra’s interest in optometry began when she volunteered for a program called Unite for Sight in 2006. While studying at UGA, she worked as a vision therapist at Five Point Eye Care in Athens, GA. Her clinical externships included the Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Dorfzaun Eye Group in Marietta, GA. Dr. Rajendra enjoys taking time to get to know her patients in order to provide them with the best quality eye care. She loves spending her free time with her family. Her passions outside of work include traveling—especially to any beach—and she is also a self-proclaimed foodie. Goooo Dawgs!!
