About Dr. Maneh Gevorgyan
Dr. Gevorgyan is an independent health care provider who specializes in examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye health and vision care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and pre-medical studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Care Sciences. After taking a year off and volunteering at an eye clinic, she continued her graduate education at MCPHS University School of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree. She completed her clinical rotations at various settings, including a busy ophthalmology practice specializing in various eye specialities, a veteran’s association hospital, and a community health center.
Shortly after graduation, Dr. Gevorgyan relocated to Los Angeles from Boston and started her career at VisionQuest Optometry. Opening a private practice has been her dream for a long time and now she is the proud owner of Perception Optometry.
Dr. Gevorgyan is interested in treatment and management of ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, pre and post operative care of patients, etc. She values her patients, and wants them to have the best vision possible in a manner that fits their lifestyle.
Dr. Gevorgyan loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

I really liked the OD.
I was less enthusiastic with first person who checked me in and did initial eye tests. They went over insurance and I found the information confusing in how it was presented. I think it was an energy thing.
I chose not to get my glasses there.
There was a third person who did an optional service that was wearing a very strong perfume which was uncomfortable for me to be around.
I would highly recommend the Dr. I saw. She explained everything very clearly.

The office is immaculate with very stylish decor and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I've never had an eye doctor talk to me about some of my seemingly benign eye symptoms without me needing to bring it up first -- it sounds obvious but I didn't realize how significant it was until she asked the right questions. The doctor was fantastic and I will return to see her again. The glasses frames were extremely over priced. The cheapest frames I could find were still way more than my insurance covered, which is an issue I have never run into. Not to mention, the price of the lenses themselves was not covered by my insurance at this location, which I have also never run into this issue. After I voiced both of these issues to the man fitting me for my frames, he was STILL trying to upsell me designer frames, and continued to hand me multiple frames that I told him I was uninterested in, both for style and price reasons. He continued to hand me glasses that I told him I didn’t want, and tried to tell me I wouldn’t like the types of frames that I had been consistently wearing for 4+ years. This man was all sales and he made the end of this experience very uncomfortable. I will return here for the great doctor, but I will only be renewing my prescription, then purchasing frames elsewhere.

Wow! I finally found a friendly and honest optometry office in LA.

I normally don’t write reviews… but I felt I had to for this one. What a lovely office experience! This was my first time seeing Dr. Gevorgyan and she made my appointment seamless. I was seen right away, and the whole staff was SO friendly. Seriously - shoutout to the front desk!!!! Patient, kind, and just wonderful. The front office helped me learn all my options through insurance, and I ended up getting a pair of glasses and contacts..They even let me to take some samples of contacts to take home!! Coming to any doctor usually makes me so anxious , but this experience gave me hope that there are great providers out there who help ease their patients :)
Oh and the space itself is so clean, and I found parking right away which is always a win.
