“I came to see Ms. Gaines-Onwukwe for an urgent care visit after experiencing persistent throbbing sensations in my head, headaches, and unusual fatigue. I was anxious something was seriously wrong, but Maria was calm, reassuring, and made me feel truly heard. After discussing my symptoms, we realized my sleep had been severely interrupted due to stress from college finals, waking up throughout the night, and even itchy, sweaty feet from sleeping in socks. She encouraged me to rest, cancel my plans for the day, try melatonin, and sleep without socks so my feet could breathe. I followed her advice, and the next morning I felt amazing. The headaches and throbbing were gone, and my sleep improved significantly. She helped me realize how important proper rest is and that sometimes the simplest solutions make the biggest difference. I started coming to Maria for weight loss management with medication and I am proud to say that after about 3 months using her services I am down 15lbs and 3 inches off my stomach, and no longer prediabetic! I had been struggling with prediabetes for over 14 years and through Maria’s help during such a short time, I have been able to get rid of it! I can’t be more thankful for meeting her. She has been such a blessing and an angel to work with. She has been guiding me on how to move more and to fix my diet and everything has been working! She is so kind and very supportive and thorough for how she cares about my health. If you are on the fence about booking with her, don’t be! She is awesome and one of a kind and you won’t regret it!!!
