About Dr. Maria Shuster
Dr. Maria Shuster graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Psychology. She then attended Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she earned a Bachelor of Science and her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2012.
Dr. Shuster became fascinated by the eye after she started wearing glasses and contact lenses at a young age. She held onto that passion for becoming an optometrist throughout her many years of education until it became a reality. Now, Dr. Shuster manages patients with glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetes, and provides routine eye care for glasses and contact lenses.

This was my first appointment, and it was a pleasant experience. I liked Dr. Shuster and felt heard and valued as a patient. She took care of my concerns and answered my questions without me feeling silly about asking them. Some doctors make me feel stupid when I ask a question, but Dr. Shuster did not. She was wonderful. The staff, in general, was great. The one who helped me pick my glasses was helpful and patient with me and my indecisiveness. I unfortunately forgot her name, but she had amazing rings and cute octagon glasses. Great experience!

I had an amazing experience I came in for two styes on the eye and was treated with care we talked about medicine I will be on and things that could help. We also talked about future things if the medication didn’t work. The doctor fast care for me and explained everything well!! Will see again for any future eye emergencies.

I love my new eye Dr she listened they did some exams twice to make sure correct the dr and the tech was very thorough and dr explained everything to me ! Everyone was wonderful I love it there my eye exam for glasses and contacts is soon this was my medical exam.

My previous eye doctor was not a participant with my insurance company. I reached out to locate a physician for my exam. Once I located it through google it directed me to zocdoc and it showed appointments available for a few hours later the very same day. The office was stunning and state of the art. Staff was friendly and courteous. I highly appreciated their service and they now have a new patient and will highly recommend them to others.
