About Dr. Marielle Alcantara

Marielle Alcantara, OD is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry, in San Antonio Texas. After receiving her doctoral degree in 2016, she moved to Kentucky to complete her residency in Ocular Disease at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Dr. Alcantara focuses on routine eye exams, eye glasses, contact lens fittings and has a strong background in medical eye care. “I care for each of my patients the way I would want any doctor to care for my parents. And I won’t puff you in the eyes with air!” During her free time, Dr. A enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
