“The receptionist and the doctor were both great! She helped me pick frames that suited my crazy face and he answered all my questions. Smooth visit overall. The only thing I thought was kind of uncool (not a dealbreaker by any means though) was at the end when I got fitted for my glasses. When I asked when I could expect my glasses to be ready for pick up I was told 3 weeks. Like bro, I cant see right now….3 more weeks? Ok, but on the door (literally the line of lettering with the largest font) it says “1 Hour Glasses”…3 weeks for mine though? Bum deal ??
It’s only a once a year thing though so it’s all good.”

Dr. Mark Chavana is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. He holds an associate of Arts in Biology from Del Mar College, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He also performed research and received further medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His externship training at Houston Eye Associates provided a primary care education with emphasis on cataract and glaucoma treatments. As a therapeutically licensed optometrist, he is experienced in diagnosing and managing ocular disease. He specializes in difficult to fit contact lenses, dry eyes, glaucoma, LASIK/RK/PRK, and cataracts.
