“Dr. Dickerson was great. She did my skin cancer screening and felt two moles on my face may be suspect so she decided to remove them and did it in the same visit. It was painless. I also had a lump on my rib that she felt could be harmless lipoma but to be cautious, she decided to measure it and took a picture of it so that she could monitor if it is growing at a follow-up visit she scheduled for 6 months. She said if it grows we should remove it. I feel she is very thorough and I will definitely be going back to her.”

Dedicated to providing her patients with top quality medical care, Dr. Mary C. Dickerson specializes in surgical, cosmetic and general dermatology. She was named “Most Outstanding Graduate” when she graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University. She obtained her graduate degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School with a 4.0 GPA and awards in internal medicine and dermatology. In order to pursue the latest techniques emerging from the field, Dr. Dickerson completed a year of internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and then a dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Dickerson provides her patients with the education and experience needed to administer the best medical care. She currently resides in Baton Rouge with her husband Dr. Ryan Dickerson and three children.
