After optometry school, she completed a residency at Woolfson Eye Institute, here in Atlanta, where she received additional training in ocular disease including anterior segment and external eye disease, posterior segment ocular disease, diagnosis and management of hypertensive and diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma diagnosis and management, pre and postoperative evaluation and management of cataract, pterygium, and refractive surgery patients. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. Mary Elizabeth Brice is originally from Tullahoma, Tennessee.
