About Dr. Maryam Ali

Maryam Ali , O.D. was born in the suburbs of Chicago. and is a proud Boilermaker from her time at Purdue University. She went on to complete her optometric training in Chicago. She has a passion for building patient trust while delivering effective solutions for their eye health. In research she's explored visual therapy guided rehabilitation in pediatric patients with cortical vision impairment, contact lens effects of eye movements, and optical-pupil interactions. In her free time, she loves traveling, painting, and baking.
