About Dr. Matthew Albin

Dr. Matthew Albin was born and raised in the Western suburbs of Chicago. After his time at local Glenbard North High School, he went on to Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from DePaul University in Chicago. Dr. Albin then obtained his Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry, where he received honors for his excellence in clinical care. Dr. Albin has extensive experience in primary eye care including contact lens fittings, ocular disease diagnosis, cataract and LASIK surgical co-management and ocular emergency treatment. Dr. Albin has special interest in glaucoma diagnosis and management, diabetic eye exams, and dry eye care. When Dr. Albin is not serving the members of his community, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking new dishes, and traveling.
